Boylesports’s old Boylesports website design received a bit of stick for being unimpressive, boring, and even tacky but the bookmaker now sports a much nicer, cleaner, and more attractive design, with a simple layout that avoids over-complicating the presentation of what is a lot of information on one page.
The top centre section features several rotating banners advertising the latest sporting events and details of a few available markets for each, as well as a plug for one of the other products such as poker and casino.
Below that you’ll find a section listing the day’s horse races, with the blue title bar also featuring quick links to results and radio centre, where you can listen to live commentary on certain events. Below the blue title bar of this section you’ll also find red quick links to change to view between UK & Ireland and USA horse racing, see greyhounds events and check out virtual racing opportunities. You can also see, at a glance, the channel the races will be televised on by hovering over the TV icon at the end of each track.
Below the races section you’ll find the football and sports sections, which have a similar layout, featuring some prices, indicating if the event is running live at that moment, and linking to other bets available on the event.
The right side of the sports page is where you’ll find your bet slip, which now functions as it should following rumours of having to double confirm bets in the past. They did precisely that to the writer of this review and they did not even tell him why – and he did ring them up to ask but got no reason other than being palmed off with the unhelpful retort that it was “probably a trading decision.” They promised to telephone with more details – he is still waiting.
